Flam aims to redefine how consumers interact with ads, content in every shape and form, retail aisles, live broadcasts and fan moments turning content and interfaces into shoppable, shareable experiences that deliver measurable ROI. Flam has raised a $14 million Series A round led by global technology investor RTP Global with participation from Dovetail and select others bringing the total funding to $22 million.
The next phase of growth is to accelerate R&D on its app-less GenAI infrastructure that lets brands create, publish and measure high-fidelity MR, 3D & Digital experiences in <300 ms on any smartphone no app download required. The same infra already powers advertising for Google, Samsung, Emirates and hundreds of global enterprises & agency powerhouses.
Key Focus Areas:
Product Roadmap: Upcoming releases include GenAI-driven 3D asset generation, Democratising MR deployment at scale, Enterprise Suite of Products across Industries, and Infrastructure for broadcasters and fan engagement.
Geography: Funds will support new enterprise pods in North America, Europe and the Middle East while deepening Asia operations.
Partnerships: Flam will expand its partner program for creative studios and global platforms, enabling Fortune 500 brands to move from pilot to rapid global roll-out.
Role summary
Flam is looking for a Founding Recruiter to build and scale our talent engine as we grow post‑Series A across India and global markets. You will work directly with the founders and business leaders to hire world‑class talent across engineering, AI, product, GTM and creative, and to architect the processes, tools and rituals that will power our next phase of growth.
What you’ll own
- Full‑cycle hiring for priority roles across Engineering (backend, frontend, mobile, AI/ML), Product, Design, Sales/GTM, Marketing, and Founders’ Office.
- Partnering closely with founders and functional heads to define role scorecards, interview loops, and hiring bars that align with Flam’s mission and stage.
- Building high‑quality top‑of‑funnel through targeted outbound, talent communities, events, and referrals — not just inbound applications.
- Owning our candidate experience end‑to‑end: communication, feedback loops, interview readiness, and a clear, fast process across India and occasional global roles.
- Setting up and optimising recruiting processes, simple dashboards, and reporting to give founders real‑time visibility into hiring funnels and market insights.
- Partnering on employer branding — job descriptions, campaigns, founder‑led content, events and touchpoints that reflect Flam’s culture and ambition in AI + MR.
- Acting as a thought partner on org design, headcount planning and compensation benchmarks for early leadership and IC hires.
What success looks like (6–12 months)
- A predictable 0 → 1 recruiting engine for Flam: clear process, strong pipelines, and tight alignment with founders on what “great” looks like for every key role.
- 10–30 high‑impact hires across engineering, AI, GTM and creative functions, with strong bar for ownership, speed and culture add.
- Founders and leaders spend time only with calibrated, high‑signal candidates because you handle sourcing, screening and process orchestration.
- A noticeable lift in Flam’s talent brand among AI, MR and startup communities in Bengaluru and beyond.
You’ll be a great fit if
- You have 4–8 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including meaningful time in high‑growth startups hiring for engineering and GTM roles.
- You have built or significantly scaled hiring processes in a lean environment and are comfortable operating as the first / founding talent partner.
- You know how to source and close top technical and business talent using outbound, networks and creative channels, not just job boards.
- You communicate crisply, can pitch a vision to senior candidates, and are comfortable representing the company to leaders in AI, product and sales.
- You enjoy working directly with founders, can push back with data, and thrive in ambiguity, speed and constant iteration.
- You are Bengaluru‑based or open to working closely with our Bengaluru hub while collaborating with teams in San Francisco and other markets.
Nice to have
- Experience hiring in AI, deeptech, dev‑tools or marketing/advertising tech companies.
- Prior experience as a first recruiter / talent partner at Series A–B startups, especially with global teams.
- Comfort with building simple recruiting analytics and dashboards for leadership.
