The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for government and public sector opportunities. This role requires strong understanding of government procurement processes, bid management, documentation, compliance, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify relevant government tenders through portals such as GeM, CPPP, state
- procurement portals, and other sources.
- Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit tender documents within stipulated timelines.
- Coordinate with sales, legal, finance, operations, and technical teams for inputs and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all tender terms, conditions, and documentation requirements.
- Manage bid trackers, deadlines, and submission calendars effectively.
- Handle queries, clarifications, pre-bid meetings, and addendums related to tenders.
- Maintain a repository of past bids, case studies, and standard templates.
- Track tender outcomes and provide insights on win-loss analysis.
- Support contract documentation post-tender win, including LOI, PO, and agreements.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 7 years of experience in tender management, preferably in government sales or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of GeM, CPPP, and government procurement processes.
- Excellent documentation and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
